SaspDad
Interested in this style of pistol for optic competition shooting. The Strike One can be milled for an RMR and the Type B can come from the factory optic ready. Curious what folks think which of these would be better etc.
dspring
I have some experience with both generations of the Archon, none with the Strike one. I find the Archon truly good, and would recommend it for competition. One thing that also makes it competitive is that it accepts and functions well with CZ75 mags. The ability to run it in CO with a 23+1 capacity is very welcome. So my recommendation would be to stick with the Archon unless you’re sure that the Strike one also accepts those mags. Also the red dot mount is direct and very well executed, so i would not go through the expense of milling a gun unless you find some other compelling reasons.
