Tips for removing Hahn Non-dedicated/Top 9mm Adapter?

Need to remove a Hahn Non-dedicated/Top 9mm Adapter from a basic Anderson AM-15 Lower, hopefully without damaging anything. Tried searching this forum, Google, Youtube, etc. but can't find any info. Put a call in @ Hahn but haven't received a callback.

So I used to have a dedicated but I remember researching this. I believe the top loader is removed by have the lower separated from the upper, push the magazine release in and just push the adapter up towards where the upper would be. It might be a tight fit and a small rubber or plastic hammer could help.

Edit: If the bolt catch is in the way you would have to remove it. Such as this 9mm bolt catch is in pic three of the product page: https://hahn-precision.com/ar-15-top-9mm-adapter/

Thanks - didn't see that install info on the Hahn site. Have Mag Release and 9mm Bolt Catch removed so I guess it's just trying to carefully tap it out of the lower.

No prob and good luck. Just make sure you tap it the correct direction. Let us know how it goes.

I've got some random chunks of HDPE that I'll try & shape to use as a impact block/persuader.

The HDPE & a Dead-blow Hammer had it out faster than Cumswalla unzipping Slick Willie's fly!

Lol Congrats! I'm glad you didn't find out it was a bottom loader the hard way.

Yeah, I knew it was a top-loader - just wasn't sure the best way to get it back out as I didn't do the install.
