hermes_actual
Does anyone know the screw size/thread pitch for the DAA Racer pouch belt attachment? The 2.5 mm heads are prone to stripping and I'd like to find something better. I haven't heard back from DAA. Thanks.
tomjerry1
First, try a metric allen from one of your tool sets, the DAA one seems a tad smaller. If the screw heads are stripped, head down to your local ACE hardware with your belt attachment and start trying sizes until you find what you are looking for. My go to for hardware. I'd bet that a good tool will solve your problem.
BritinUSA
This link doesn't mention the screw size, but you can buy replacements here: https://rangepanda.com/products/replacement-screws-for-daa-mag-pouches

Runswithwood1
Your best bet may be to take a screw and go to a local hardware store and buy good replacements

hermes_actual
For follow up, the screw is M4, 12 mm. I got some hex head screws at Home Depot. The heads sit a little more proud than the DAA, but nothing significant. They are 3 mm hex instead of 2.5 mm and deeper so I don't expect them to strip. M4-0.7 12 mm Internal Hex from Home Depot
BritinUSA
Might be worth it to get a decent set of Allen keys too. Many of the tools that ship with parts are not exactly to specification. If they are slightly undersized then it can cause deformation of the screw head when tightening.
