Cary, NC Shooting Instructors

Hello. Anyone know any shooting instructors specifically for USPSA/competitive shooting near Cary, NC? Not a lot of competitive shooters near here, at least that I know of. Let me know. Thanks in advance!

Plenty of USPSA shooters at Sir Walter Gun Club near you.  USPSA match is the 1st Saturday of the month.  One of the largest matches in the section.  SWGC on practiscore.

As Shadow stated, Chris Tilley is your best bet in Cary.  His outdoor range is only about 40 mins from Cary in Sanford. 

 

Also, check email Todd Jarrett as he sometimes have classes in NC.  His email is todd@toddjarrett.com. 

Also, Billy Barton, www.spectrain.us, I believe gives lessons but he might be 2 hours from Cary.

 

Lots of matches within 1 hr of Cary so shoot some.  I usually go to Sir Walter, The Range at True North, Goshoot (Tilley's match), CGGR (Zoo City), and Pitt County.  Oh Chris Tilley also has an indoor match on Wednesdays I believe in his indoor range in the Raleigh area.  Check for GoShoot in Practiscore.

Thanks to both of you! Sent an email to Chris Tilley, he said he’ll get back to me once more training times are available. In the mean time I’ll dry fire and try to find a match I can get to within my schedule. I understand there is no better practice than actually doing the events haha
