gxsr_sarge
Hello All, Just getting back into IDPA after about 5 years hiatus and have been researching the use of my C2 for IDPA. I have the version with the threaded barrel, have the higher stock "tactical sights" and am running a Trijicon SRO and is otherwise "stock". I haven't been able to find a definitive answer as the threads/post in the past were discussing previous iterations of the IDPA rules. After hitting the web and reading the current (2023) rules, it seems as though it would be legal. However, I haven't fitted the gun in "the box". Could someone please check me on my analysis:? The width with the ambi-safeties is 1 1/2" and the rule allows for 1 5/8" in the box. The height also seems to work with the stock Staccato 16 round mag as it is just under 6". The height of the optic is N/A from my understanding The length even with the 1/2" threaded portion of the barrel sticking out is still under 8 3/4". I think the "bull barrel" rule was a thing of the past and didn't apply to ESP/CO any ways. SA pistols are currently permissible in ESP/CO Round count is still 10 is ESP/CO (would be nice if it were 15 like other divisions) I am missing something? I'd be curious as to whether anyone else has fit their C2 in the official box? Thank you
RangerTrace
It is perfectly legal.

Whether or not that is a good idea is a whole ‘nother discussion.
