Ontarget
I got my first chance to see a Riva-S at a local USPSA match. The owner let me handle it, and I noticed my support hand thumb rested on the slide lock lever. I'm wondering if there is a potential problem with releasing the slide by accident? Maybe I wasn't gripping the gun correctly. I have small hands, and my thumb didn't naturally rest on the pad forward of the slide release. What is your experience with gripping the Rival-S, especially anyone with smaller hands. Thanks.
Ajsomp
They do include three grip sizes. Not sure the one the owner had on, but even so I haven’t had an issue with thumb placement. I also don’t really use the memory pad for my support thumb though either.
hump
I have small hands and have no issues with the slide lock. The slide locks on both my SFX's protude out much further and I haven't had an issue with them either. I run the large grips.
TheChef1
What do you mean by releasing the slide by accident? You mean not allowing slide lock? If thats the case dont worry about that. If you're going to slide lock consistently thats the big issue.
