Concealment gear question

New to IDPA here. 
 

If I have a tucked in T-shirt over IWB gear… is that considered okay even if the shirt then doesn’t cover the mag pouches AFTER I untuck it for the draw?

 

Basically when is the concealment gear “pass” criteria judged? Before the stage or after the stage?

Before.  

 

(And during equipment check.  If your have your t-shirt tucked in and can raise your arms and have everything be concealed, and that is how you are starting stages, you are fine.  As a parallel example, no one has gotten a procedural penalty for their vest exposing their mag pouches during stage movement.)
