shred Posted January 18, 2023 Share Posted January 18, 2023 For this kind of thing unless the original maker is gonna fix it, you want a small shop with a smith that does fits on customer parts. A high-volume (relatively speaking) builder gets their choice of new un-fit parts and knows what to do with them and has the CNC programs and jigs and fixtures to do it, but partly worn, mystery-fit parts coming in is way off process for them.
