Skytrooper
Broke right hand and wrist in a preventable fall at home in August...didn't get it looked at for 3 weeks (once the pain became intolerable). Didn't shoot for 4 weeks while it healed. Went back to shooting mid October. Could not maintain grip during stages, accuracy/ score suffering. Went back to Dr. diagnosed with nerve damage. Been getting PT and rehab to make it stronger and is starting to function more normally. I am cleared to go back to shooting in January. this was the result of 3 stupid things on my part. 1. Not having it looked at earlier. 3 weeks was too long 2. Going back too early. Hand and wrist were definitely no where near ready. 3. Not going back to the Dr earlier for PT. Oh yeah, and the clincher...what started the whole issue, tripping over a landing in my basement. It has been there the whole 34 years I have lived here, but I tripped over it carrying a basket of cleaned brass. What a kick in the nads.
