Nelson Custom 22lr HOLSTER???

Hi Everyone,

I just picked up a Nelson Custom 22lr conversion with the standard iron sights.  My hope was that this conversion was going to fit my current 1911 competition kydex holster (Bladetech), but it does not.

Can anyone recommend a kydex holster that this conversion will fit?  Thanks!

Do you have the iron sights with the combo rail (scope rail & irons)

or the irons without the scope rail? 

 

If it's the combo rail, look for a kydex holster for an open pistol, like the Nerd Urn

If it is the standard irons and the fit isn't too far off, smoothly wrap the pistol in a layer or two of masking tape, heat the offending portions of the kydex with a heat gun and insert the pistol into the holster and let the kydex cool.  Remove the tape and check the fit, if still too tight, re-wrap the pistol in an extra layer or two of tape and repeat.
