I’m sure some competition shooters have gone though many, many rounds. At what point do you relegate one to back-up status in favor of a new one? At what point do they have major failures/cracks? GeneBray Posted September 27, 2022 Share Posted September 27, 2022 70k rnds. Frame good w/holster wear. Minor part breakage mostly slide stop and trigger return spring, one extractor. Barrel brurned out at 60.1k. Virtually all ammo throught it 130 PF, 124/125 gr jacketed bullets using Titegroup. Rear low profile sight broke. Improper install.
