Red Dot Plates

With my new Hellcat and XDM I got a coupon for a free adapter plate for a dot. Well after looking at some options I’m more confused than ever. I don’t know if I’ll put one on but would like the option and for free what the heck. I guess what I need to know is if there’s a chart that shows the compatibility of dots to plates to guns. I tried looking some up online but it seems that every dot has its own pattern. Appreciate any help.

Thanks At least everything is in one place there. Just briefly paged through and it looks like it’s better to pick the sight first.
