chubs3a
I came across a CA compliant LF 40s&w full size mag that I got as for use as a barney mag, however, the mag wont seat correctly. I am running a Henning Magwell, so stock baseplates wont work. Would I be fine with one of Henning's production basepads, or should I get one of his CA compliant 141mm base pads? this would be strictly a barney mag or on the less occasion used for IDPA. shred
Most Production pads will also hit the magwell. You need a pretty good bevel on top to clear it. FWIW, there's a Shockbottle pad that does, the TF-LFMW, but if you're used to the Hennings, there's nothing wrong with those either.

I've heard of the Shockbottle, so I'll definitely check those out.
