Favorite fixed site for 1911?

Greetings.  Long-time listener, first time caller.  Interested in thoughts from you 'high-mileage' folks concerning favorite fixed sight for both competition and self-defence use.  Thanks.

Wilson Nite-eyes.  They come with a yellow tritium rear and a brighter green tritium front.  There is plenty of light around the front post and in the daytime they have a good black on black sight picture.  Best of all the front blade is still fairly narrow.  I've been shooting them for about a year now, and if they weren't so expensive I try to order their Glock counterparts as well.

I like the fixed sights that came on my Kimber. For after market I like the Heine fixed sight on a 1911 or a Glock. If you must have an adjustable get the Bomar.
