Tim Burke
I've experimented with a lot of low mount safeties to be sure that I depress the grip safety with a high thumb grip. I find the Gunsite too low... it works, but I'll accidentally engage it shooting support hand. The EGW used to be produced on an occasional basis, I'm not sure if it is always stocked. It's a mid-position, as are all the ones that follow. It works well for me, and has a lot of extra metal on it. It's my first choice in a custom build. I like the Harrison Design, but I find it's a little more difficult to fit. The Wilson has the pad angled upwards, so it looks a little odd. It doesn't feel any different to me in use, though.
