Any Feedback - Ar Lowers From American Spirit Arms

I don't know how these rate as lowers compared to the usual favorites.

ASA has a terrible reputation.

I'd go with Rock River Arms, or Bushmaster.

I used one in the past. It was ok. I would have rather used one from DPMS, Rock River or others. I only used it cause the others were on backorder when i needed a lower. Brownells actually sells the ASA's for more thant the DPMS lowers.

I understand that the ASA name recognition is not positive. I wondered if there were any issues with the lowers, and wondered who supplied them to ASA?

I have an ASA AR with a 20" A2 upper that I built from one of their kits. Initially the gun had issues. The chamber was too tight, the gas tube had some sort of problem (don't know what it was but they replaced it and the problem went away) and they sold me a lower parts kit that had a mix of AR10 and AR15 parts. After several trips to ASA the gun now works perfectly. None of the issues that I had were related to the lower.
