Meangun
case full of pryrodex or black powder FFFG.or 10 grains bullseye some cotton. whatchoo shooting blanks at? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> My neighbor is PD. He's K9 and uses blanks to train with. I work at an FFL on the side and when I saw that blanks are rediculous in $$$ I told him I could do it. 200 rounds of factory blanks were going to cost $150. That's crazy!!! I have estimated that even after the purchase of the die I will be at $120 for 1000 round and the next time he needs them even cheaper since we have the die already. Thanks for the info!!! PS, what do you use blanks for??
EricW
Has your neighbor given blank pistols a try? They have ones that shoot 209 shotgun primers that are fairly loud - and the primers are dirt cheap. The guns are inexpensive as well, like $50 to100 or so and should fit OK in a service holster. Might want to give that a try before rusting out a service revo with blanks. Try looking at: 209 pistol at www.gundogsupply.com for $55. The service and prices are generally excellent. I've had great luck with GDS. E
