Merlin Orr
Visited the Pharr Gun Club today and shot with a great group of guys. They ran a special classifier match and it was great. Hard to beat USPSA shooters for just being overall good people. Only downside was getting my ass kicked by the local hot rods. Life is good! Merlin Orr
I really miss my home club when I am out working - but I have shot 6 matches in the past 2 weeks and will shoot two more this week - during the week. I feel like a whole new world has opened up. Its kool to realize that shooters are basically the same every where you go. Very nice people who shoot for the same reasons you do, because they love the sport. I shot my first bowling pin match, my first match shooting turning targets that moved and turned from good guy to bad guy, my first 3 gun match and 2 USPSA matches- all this by invitation from shooters on the BE Forums. This week I will shoot the IDPA classifier for the first time. New experences and fun trigger time. Whats not to love!
