saibot
I pulled my STI 9mm Trubor's upper apart to clean it and notice the firing pin is looking a bit rough. I bought a spare from STI and was going to use it and the FP pin that came with my recoil spring. But when comparing them they are both different than what was in the gun. The FP in my STI is noticeably longer and is different than the new STI replacement I bought. The spring I was going to use from my wolf recoil spring is larger than the one in the STI as well. So...what should I order to replace my Trubor's firing pin and spring? Still pretty new to the platform. Thanks!
Acsr
Use the one that came with the wolf recoil spring
GringoBandito
I would also check the diameter of the new pin VS the old to make sure they are the same diameter. For what it is worth, I know a lot of builders like to use Matt McLearn pins as they are a little longer and larger in diameter. Lastly, most builders I know like to use wolf extra power firing pin springs. Edited November 26, 2018 by GringoBandito
