GIO
Hi All, I am attempting to install a Caspian flat trigger in my STI Trojan 9mm 1911. I got the trigger to fit in the frame perfect, slides super smooth. Problem is when I reassembled the gun the action is completely locked up and the trigger is frozen in place. I put the old trigger back in and it works fine. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated, Jason
TimBoettcher
Check to make sure the over travel screw is backed all the way out and test.... Tim
GIO
The screw is not sticking out the back of trigger at all. Should I still back it out more?
TimBoettcher
I'm thinking you should measure the bow, sounds like its longer than the one you took out.

The bow was binding against the Grip safety tab. A few months ago I installed an Ed Brown grip safety and filed the tab to clear the stock trigger but it needed a bit more clearance for the Caspian. Thank You Tommy and Tim for taking time to assist. Gio
