atek3
Any of you all 'divide yourselves to thin'? I like 3gun, IPSC, and High Power, seems like dividing my time between too many sports isn't the way to improve at any of them rapidly. atek3
lynn jones
the only way is to practice all when you go to the range, and dry fire at home. lynn
sargenv
Um, My current thing is IPSC, all divisions. Hence why I can't get any higher than B class. I used to shoot lots of skeet and trap, and some 5 stand. I remain proficient enough in those though. I do 3-gun because it's fun. I figure I can apply all those years shooting at 200 meter steel, and carry that over to 3-gun. My shotgun skills are pretty good, if I can get the rifle and pistol skills to match my shotgun skills, I'd be really good. The things I used to do was Bullseye Pistol, Handgun Sillouette, Skeet, Trap, Sporting clays, 5 stand, Archery, and some benchrest rifle, but never at a competitive level. I still hunt waterfowl and upland game, in fact my 3-gun shotgun also serves as my hunting gun. With upland game seasons around the corner, it gives me something to look forward to Vince
