tomv
I'm looking for a load @ about 150 power factor using 9mm 124 gr bullet / HS6 to shoot steel with in my STI DVC Open gun. I was running with a PD 115 JHP / 7.5 gr HS6 (PF = 151) but have since standardized in the 124 gr bullet. Maybe one of you guys can save me some time id you have a favorite load that works. tomv
After some experimentation I settled on 124 gr PD JHP over 6.4 gr of HS6 @ 1.165 COAL. This yields a power factor of 130 in my DVC Steel gun and 141 in the DVC open. Surprisingly, the open gun runs 100% with this load and is very pleasant (flat) to shoot.
