GIO Posted December 17, 2017 Share Posted December 17, 2017 Hi All, I purchased five Double Alpha SS racer pouches and I am trying to mount them bullets out. I drilled the hole to get the Allen wrench through but the screw cannot get past the ridges that hold the leaf spring in. Am I missing something obvious? The screw is too long to get under the ridges and the head is too wide to pass through. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Most videos show the modification for double stack mag pouches where there is no issue due to the width between the ridges that hold the spring. Mountbkr Posted December 18, 2017 Share Posted December 18, 2017 I just completed the same task, just push the screw through the ridges, it didn't hurt them. Stick the allen wrench through the hole you drilled, put the screw on the end of it, start the screw the hole, press the allen wrench against the bench or table you are working at.
