Intercooler2
My K100 feels pretty slippery in the mitts. Instead of possibly sending it for stippling I found these: http://tractiongrips.com/catalog/i167.html It must be a tape of some sort. Anyone using this or something else? blfuller
That is what it is, a laser cut material with adhesive backing. It is similar to the Talon grip material but Talon does not make them for the Grand Power so this works for me. I prefer the rubberized material over the sandpaper grit. Springer Precision makes the grit type if you prefer that texture: http://shop.springerprecision.com/product.sc?productId=298&categoryId=
Intercooler2
Thanks for that! If this doesn't work, it's cheap enough to try that.
MemphisMechanic
Talon makes rubber and sandpaper grips. Run the sandpaper. Clean the frame with alcohol, apply the tape, then hit it with a heat gun til it becomes slightly rubbery. The adhesive will set like cement when it cools, and it will let the stiff material actually conform to the curves of the gun. Do that, and they’ll last several seasons. Talon does not make any grip tape for Grand Power pistols. Not sure why not but they don't. Hence the reference to Traction Grips and Springer Precision. MemphisMechanic
Oops. Misread “traction” as “talon”. Honestly? If that product doesn’t work, I’d use strips of masking tape cut to fit your gun, peeled off, and transferred to a piece of high-end skateboard tape. Make your own grip tape. It’s not hard. JRM83
I just covered mine in jessup tape by the sheet. Looked ugly but was incredibly effective.

Intercooler2
It feels good to me and gave me enough traction to remedy the slickness.
