pskys2 Posted August 13, 2017 Share Posted August 13, 2017 Have a new M&_ 45 2.0, is it normal that the mags Don't Drop Free? Would drop about 1" or less but not clear grip. pskys2 Posted August 21, 2017 Author Share Posted August 21, 2017 Mags would drop less than an inch and hang up, did it with either slide forward or at slide lock. Had to take .002" or more off of the rear face of the mag release. It did it with 6 factory mags and 2 pro mags. Figured it was poor QC, S&W doesn't have a good record with revolvers and never had any of their semi autos, but didn't want to send it back. Other than the POI being 6" low at 25 yds with factory sights, runs good and is decently accurate. FS, for me, needs to be .130" instead of the factory .185".
