More prima v data

Prima v batch 16055 data shot from a stock g-34 at twenty yards using open sights with a prop. All loads was ten shots some of the groups might have one or two shots pulled out of the group. Some of the first shots would be out of the group and my eyes are not what they use to be lol.

124 gr  r/n bayou 1.15  oal

3.8grs  1000 fps  43 17sd

1.3" group

 

124 gr r/n bayou  1.15 oal

4.0 grs.  1012-64-22

2.7" group

 

124 gr  r/n bayou. 1.15 oal

4.2 grs. 1057-45-14

2.2" group

 

124 gr tc bayou 1.070 oal

3.8 grs 992-31-10

2.8" group

 

124 gr tc bayou  1.075 oal

4.0 grs  1029-33-11

2.3" group

 

Had better numbers with the 124 tc bullets due to being seated deeper in the case imho. I used unis ginex primers with all loads.

What bullet were you shooting before?

 

Your hottest batch at 4.2 was only 131 power factor through one of the fastest guns out there. Sounds like 4.4gr would be the ticket if it's accurate and shows no pressure signs.

 

(I prefer to be around 133-135 pf)

Been shooting the 124 gr tc bayou bullet ,don't compete just shooting steel with friends for fun. I just like to shoot as accurate as I can because I'm ocd lol.
