bret
I put a Cmore on my shotgun, it's a versamax with an Xrail, what is the best zero for slugs? is high at 50 yards good enough to hit a metric target at 100 yards and everything else close in with birds hot? a dot on a shotgun is new to me. Rasyad
Hi Bret, Interesting question I just put Shield SIS sight on my Benelli M4 and was asking myself the same thing so goggled "shotgun slug balistics" Remmington has a good chart below which shows that should get you in the ballpark. Of course it depends on the shotgun / slug combination you are shooting and how far you want to shoot. I plan to start with a 50 yard zero and shoot until I have a feel for how I group in field conditions. https://support.remington.com/SLUGS/Ballistics_for_Remington_Shotgun_Slug_Ammunition Rasyad Edited February 24, 2017 by Rasyad
Flatland Shooter
I zero my MKA 1919 at 65 yards for slugs. So far no local matches that have had slug targets further than that.
