eric nielsen Posted June 11, 2005 Share Posted June 11, 2005 I use the 170 for Open division. It works [all my mags] just fine when the power factor is over 155. I haven't tried a recoil spring lighter than 15lb ISMI so I don't know if everything would work together with a 13-14lb spring. The TF holds 27. My Arrendondo mags only want to load 22 +1 so that's what I put in them. If you can't get the last round to push down level with the feedlips then that can easily cause malfunctions - too much pressure from the top round on the slide. driver8M3 Posted July 5, 2005 Share Posted July 5, 2005 i finally got a chance to test my new TF 170mm extension. 28 + 1 worked fine, even with my light production load (130pf). with 28 rounds loaded, there was still some wiggle room, but not nearly enough to stuff another round in. also, based on what eric said above about his arredondos, i tested them with 22 + 1 (with my light production load, 130pf) and they worked fine.
