CaptainOverkill
Anyone have much feedback on these? For just over $50 it seems like they might make good range/dry fire mags?
mookman
I have an SPS open gun..The mags don't last , the mag lips go out of spec and you only get one or two chances to resize them.I ditched mine and only use STI mags.I think Gramms do a reworked Mag, But that defeats the whole cheap mag idea. mookman
Just thinking back , I did have some luck with 9 mm mags when I made spacers out of a plastic flower pot.. But..STI work all the time.
Tino2212
Do not have problems with SPS mags mine work fine for a long time , have 3 mags two in .40 and one Bigstick in 9/38 .
Nick179
Some say the SPS mags are a softer metal and deform over time, but for dryfire and practice only, I'd rather drop a $55 mag rather than a $130 MBX
BeerBaron
I have the 9/38 140s and 170s (be aware their 170 is short ideally you need a 5mm base pad to get a full 170-171mm). So far they run well. They are similar to old style sv mags. I put grams guts in the big sticks but the factory stuff works in the 140s ok. I can't comment on their longevity at all as I've hardky used them. The metal seems like it may be lower grade than my sv mags.
