Mike62
I have a 9mm Limited PRO and would like to continue using Bayou Bullets in it. So far I am using the 147s loaded to 1.10 but they seem to be holding up the slide as it goes back into battery. The gun is not failing (only shot 500rnds so far) but I can feel it hanging up, what is your preferred bullet profile for these guns?
bigbob21
I'm using 135g round nose from Bayou in my stock 2Loaded to 1.1Shot maybe 5000 so far at that bullet weight with no problems.Had to plunk test first tho... was loading 1.165 with my glocksWhat's your recoil spring weight... I've heard that can have an affect.I'm shooting a 6lb, lolThe standard is 8-9I realize the limpro has a diff barrel, might need to be reamed.Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
MemphisMechanic
100% of the rounds that are "hanging up" your Lim Pro are passing the plunk & spin tests?
johnbu
My Lim Pro needed to be reamed just like the two 9mm S2's. The 40sw S2 didn't. I needed to load 135gr bayou down to 1.060 to be used in all three.

No, I do not do the plunk test on every round. I do case gage them in the very tight EGW gage.

MemphisMechanic
Load a dummy round with your preferred bullet at an OAL a few hundredths longer than the longest you want to be able to feed, and send that with the gun. Mine's getting cut to feed 150gr Bayou SWCs at 1.140 soon.
