Thaunk
Completed my first AR build this week. I did my test firing to set the adjustable gas system. Now the set screw from the block is poking out so far that my hand guard won't go over it. What should I do to shorten it?

What adj gas block, barrel, and hand guard are you running.... Haven't heard of anyone less having you issue... while mot a solution to your query,. An adjustable gas KEY.....has less issues
Dr Mitch
Buy a shorter screw, if possible
Thaunk
It a JP low profile adjustable gas block on a wilson 16" barrel with a F1 Miculek hand guard. Had to shave the bolts that secure the gas block to the barrel because they were contacting the hand guard.
