Pistolpete9 Posted November 30, 2016 Share Posted November 30, 2016 I simply cleaned the piston and gas rings really well (amazing amount of crud in there) and it went straight back to working. There was very little carbon/gunk on the tube itself. I am likely going to go ahead and get the spacer tube as well as their follower and am still planning on putting the 10/22 spring in, but all of that is simply to have a little extra cushion. The gun has shown that as long as the piston system is clean it will run. Not too much to ask really since I could likely leave just about every other part untouched for long periods of time and cleaning the piston takes very little time ( love that it's chromed).
