MissionaryMike
I just recently had my barrel reamed in my Accu Shadow. The bullet/barrel push test yielded an OAL of 1.1184". Subtract 0.015" and I get a maximum OAL of 1.103", so let's just say 1.10". Is there anything wrong w/ doubling the setback and loading to around 1.085" or so? The rounds feed well through the mags at this length, and I'm already getting my desired velocity/PF w/ my current charge of n320. I don't have to load longer just b/c the barrel will let me, do I? Hi-Power Jack
You don't have to load longer, but there are usually some advantages - 1.085" is getting a little short. If 1.10" does it, I'd stick there for a while. When you get a chance, try 1.085" and see if that improves accuracy, or feeding - but keep an eye on velocity/pressure signs if you shorten it up.
