Moving dies between presses

Is there a simple trick to move dies from my 550 toolhead to 650 toolhead and maintain adjustment??

I was thinking about slightly loosening the lock ring and then using electrical tape to secure the ring to the die threads threads.

Nope. New machine, reset. Even if it was another 550, tolerances are going to be different.

Sorry to say but the simplest 'trick' is to buy another set of dies.
