triplesinglestack
I recently had to send my STI sentry back for warranty repair, they did a fine job, as near as I can tell, Saturday shot my first match with it after getting it back. The gun felt funny, and I noticed the slide seemed to be recoiling hard similar to having too light of a spring. I run a stainless flgr, with 12.5 lb spring normally. So I took it apart, and seems that the spring is too long and stacks before full length of travel. I had an extra recoil master in my range bag and attempted to install it but it would not fit the slide, the dust cover area was too small to allow installation. Has anyone seen this? I have not emailed STI yet, since I know they are super busy, it took four months to get this back from them in current state. Jason
triplesinglestack
Edit to add The recoil rod and spring should be the same parts I sent in the original gun. But they replaced slide, frame and barrel, all other parts have some miles on them

Bill H
Just cut a coil or 2 till it doesn't bottom out.
triplesinglestack
Figured it out. It was the retainer plug inside diameter too small to allow the recoil master to pass through.
