Wolff springs ok? or should I order ISMI?

Lots of folks swear by the ISMI springs but I've been using Wolff springs for over 30 years with no complaints.

For minor loads I've been known to use the Wolff progressive springs.

Pick one or the other and give them a try. Both will work and both cost about the same.

I have a couple of the wolf variable springs I have been very happy with. Put on in my Sig X5 and about 10K rounds since runs flawless

Been using them both for years. Can't really tell much difference and they both work well for me.

I've used them both in my 1911s and 2011s. Both are fine. I wouldn't worry too much about it. Pick one and stick with it.

Think the key is pick one. Tuning various spring weights stay with one brand.

Just recently tried a 14.5 variable rate spring in my Gov't model 45 ACP. Previously shooting 14 or 16# springs. Having shot 2 matches with the variable weight springs I've noticed a couple of occassions when the slide was slow in returning to battery and lockup. No malfunction, but I think I'm going back to the standard springs.
