Wim
Does anyone have experience in dealing with Model1Sales.Com and any comments about their products? (Complete kits particularly). Thanks. Wim

Wim
Thanks very much; that's the kind of input that I was looking for. Wim
Chris
I bought one of their 16" AR kits with a SS barrel for around $400. With remanufactured ammo and iron sighs, I can hit the US popper flashy thingys at 200+ yds. For what it is, it seems to be holding up since I've never cleaned it or officially broke in the barrel. Ray_Z
Yep! quality stuff. The other venders that sell what they call compleat kits don't include the bolt assembly, they do. Talked to them at several gun shows. Nice people. They were willing to answer questions about AR's even though they know they weren't going to make a sale out of the deal. If you buy a kit the top end is put together already. That saves Joe average from worrying about head spacing the barrel.
raz-0
When researching my build it yourself project, the most common complaint I found for them was a canted front sight.
Timanator
I have built a few kits from them. Here is a few things I noticed. 1. 3 rifle had broken bolts after 500+ rounds(Not to 1,000) 2. All rifles had bent bolt catch after under 200 rounds. 3. All shot very accurate out to 200 yards(Mixed barrel specs). 4. Crappy trigger feel on all. 5. 1 canted front sight. 6. All parts finish equal to most off the shelf AR's. Hope this helps.
