SWprotected
RS seems to be inverse sensitive. My load was 4.4 gr and almost always chronoed about 170Pf. But at the last match I shot it was 95 and I made 166. I checked again when I got home and my chrono confirmed the 166.

What was your OAL and barrel length? You're also using 180gr bbi correct? -kg Edited February 23, 2017 by KindredGhost

Think I'd try that 4.7 gr. charge again and test with both WSPs and CCI-500s to try to get SD lower. At 171 PF, I'd want SD to be down around 6 FPS. Using magnum primers is totally safe, my spreads were much better with non magnum. also RC is more sensitive to AOL variation than n320, so it's something to keep an eye on

SOA1911
57K, I will be interested in your results using 5.8 gr. of Silhouette under the RMR 124 JHP. I have been using 6.10 gr. of Silhouette with the RMR JHP with excellent results. However, I have thought about reducing my load to 5.9 to 6.0 grains for a bit less recoil. SOA1911
57K, it will be interesting to see the differences in the primers. I am a big fan of the CCI primer, but I will use Federal, Remington, and Winchester if I find a good deal.
SOA1911
57K, no problem at all. Personally, good information should be welcome to all of us.
