robertson
Any advantage to the steel gun over stainless? John
RippinSVT
Stainless will wear better, I suppose that's about it. A fine choice for Production with a slicked up action. I shot my first iron-sighted 480 on plates with a 6" Model 14. Speaking of, I think the Model 14 is the best Production revo a person could use due to the sights. That tall front Patridge is great. Greg in VA
I held the mover record for several years with a 8 3/8 blued 586, I think either will be fine.
Toolguy
The only difference is the blue one will show holster wear and not look as good over time. That usually doesn't matter much for a working gun.
