Mikelindsey
Does anyone know of a good book or video that would steer me through the correct steps of getting a .223 shell through the prep stages. Like when to trim, then clean and polish, swage and such. I've been reloading for handguns for 2 years and am ready to start some rifle. I want to do it right. Thanks. Oh I have a Dillon trimmer to go on a XL650
joshxdm9
From what I have heard if you have the dillon trimmer there should be no need to de-bur after you trim. So all you would have to do is swage 5.56 primer pockets to loadem up. This is my process Tumble Resize and deprime Trim to 1.750 De-bur inside and outside Cut out military crimp if needed Clean primer pockets Load! De-burring and primer pockets done on lyman prep center
