ryan45kim
A friend of mine is setting up a rem1100 for three gun. It is a right hand gun but he is left-handed, I thought that you could just “flip” the stock safety over on the 1100 but he says that when he tried that the safety would push all the way out (I have not seen it yet this is what I was told) was I wrong? cking
It needs a little drilling, factory use to it for $11.00. I've got mine done. If I remember correctly it is the dent ball, new hole has to be drilled. Long time ago they drilled both holes then stopped.
shred
I went through this a while back.. ended up getting a gunsmith to do it for pretty cheap. You used to be able to buy left-handed safeties for the Remington system, but they seem not to be available anymore.

cking
The existing safety is used and all the parts, spring, ball and roll pin, just needs that extra hole to put it in. They may still do it, call the repair shop, that's what I did. Of Course after I saw it, I said geeh I could have done that!
