Cody_2130
As promised, here is my blue moa +6 tube, I also stippled the grip and fore end with two different patterns I only have a couple more things to put on the gun, a kick ezz pad once I shorten the stock a bit and a diy match saver and then I figure it's about as good as it's gonna get haha
JordanGriffith
Taccom has a match saver under $10. Not sure if I'm going to go with that blue tube. My gun is gonna get duracoated soon
Cody_2130
They were out of black +6 tube a when I ordered, I almost went with gold but figures the blue would look a bit more understated
JordanGriffith
Yeah it matches the M3K parts that's what's I was thinking. But I decided to duracoat all my guns
optimator
I've been waiting for MOA to get them in stock too. They are a local company to me and Tom and his son both shoot with the same group that I'm going to be starting with. That said, I found a +8 Nordic MXT kit at Arnzen arms today. Since my first match is 2 weeks away I went ahead and bought it.
JordanGriffith
How did you do the stippling Cody?
DarksideCZ
Why the need for a new follower? My stock one has seen over 500 Rds of ammo through my +6 tube without a single hiccup. It's been great!!
Cody_2130
I bought a wood burning kit from hobby lobby, taught myself how to use it when I did my Glock
JordanGriffith
Gotcha. I just ordered a +7 tube, follower and clamp. Hopefully it's not gonna give me issues being 5.5" longer than the barrel
JordanGriffith
+7 extenion doesn't look to bad, I was hoping it wasn't going to look dumb, but it's not bad at all
optimator
I ended up with a +8 on mine. After shooting my first ever match last week, I'm glad I did.

JordanGriffith
I see you opened up the loading port some. What Matchsaver is that?
Cody_2130
Yeah, the port work was mainly to smooth out what was already there but I did take a bit extra to make quads eaiser. The match saver is on I built for about $.50 from the hardware store haha
optimator
How about a close up of your port work? When I went over to MOA a couple of weeks ago Tom told me it would help to clean up the front area. I'm still leery of doing it myself. I'll probably just wait until he gets healed up. JordanGriffith
Just got easy and slow. You can always take more out, you don't want to have to build up the aluminum haha
Cody_2130
That's the best picture I have of my port work, I have done a bit more finish/polish work since the picture
