Petrov
So I bought nill wooden grips for my 627 and I just noticed that I can move the grips on the butt maybe 1/8th of an inch and there is a slight clanking sound when I do it. Is that normal?
310yuma
I have had several sets of Nill grips and they were never loose and when new they were very tight. Over the years I have had grips get sloppy and just shimmed them. If you are concerned you should just contact Nill.

Is that normal? Do the nils grips have a single screw at the bottom similar to the Hogue's? If so check the length of the screw and see if it is a bit long.
