Balakay Posted February 4, 2016 Share Posted February 4, 2016 I just got my STI frame and slide back after having an Infinity Signature grip and mag well installed. If my hands stop bleeding, this gun will be used for both USPSA and IDPA. 140 mm STI mags work perfectly. The 126 mm STI mags are an issue. The height of the stock STI base pad makes it somewhat difficult to seat the magazine. Sometimes during a reload from slide lock, the mag drops when the slide release is used to bring the slide forward. I tried using a 3mm TTi base pad but it will not work with the mag well. What are my options?? STI makes a very flat profile carry base pad that I think will seat easily but reloads will be harder due to nothing extending out of the mag well Infinity sells an IDPA legal base pad--will this work with an STI tube? Are the new SVI magazines compatible with an SVI grip/STI frame and slide ? I would appreciate any suggestions. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
