Burris Fastfire on an Open mount

Does anyone use a Burris fastfire? Seems similar but way cheaper than an RTS. Is it performance not in line with an RTS? All comments appreciated?

I run one. I really like it a lot. I have an arrnando mount and it's great. Glass size, dot size. It has a few brightness settings but for me it works great. I haven't shot an day match outdoors so I can't say about that. For me being cross eye dominant it's great. It puts the dot almost exactly where a 90* cmore would be but it doesn't block anything to the left. I'm running a FFIII btw

Dot not as bright as cmore and from memory only small dots like 3moa where most prefer 6 moa or bigger for USPSA and as big as 16moa for steel.

There is an 8moa FFIII. Nothing wrong with em.

I have 4 of them. Three are slide mounted. The oldest is on a 1911 in 45ACP and has survived 40,000 rounds. They are all FFIII w/8 min dots. They work well in bright sunlight.

Thanks for the correction. I used a mates and he said 3moa was all he could get but seems like he didn't look to hard. I liked that it was compact but wished the glass was bigger. But seems like a reasonable option. I hardly see them in ipsc etc. usually cmores, rts2, delta point. The odd aimpoint.
