mro111lland
So the last few matches I had some nose dives with 170 mm mags, changed springs, polished Feed ramp same thing. So today was doing some mire testing and my grip tape started to fall off so I removed it,what I found was the grip is cracked by the mage release and on the other side in a bought the same spot. My smith feels the cracks r causing the nose dives any thoughts?

Sarge
Hell, loose grip screws will cause a gun to not run. Of course that cracked grip will cause problems. It's junk now so put a CK steel grip on it. Of course, if you put plastic on it again, you need to download your mags one round so you don't break another one
slinginlead
Saw a steel grip do the same thing you are describing. We are not sure just how many rounds were on the gun when it happened, but it was not a pretty sight. Sarge is right about the loose grip screws. So yes, if your grip is cracking then you are going to have issues with recoil and picking up that round off the follower.
