kmca
Hi all, I just glanced at the IPSC shotgun section of the rule book and I now have a multi-part question: 1. Is a working safety required on shotguns? 2. What if my shotgun doesn't have a safety? Thanks in advance, Keith
George
The only time a working safety would not be required is if the weapon in question did not incorporate one in it's original design. I cannot think of a commercially available shotgun that does not. -- Regards,
MikeFoley
Do you need one? I have a couple if you cannot find them. Brownell's carries oversized safeties, and the ones I have are take-offs from new guns.
kmca
fomeister, Thanks for the offer but I'm probably going to buying a left-hand trigger group (danged if I can find the one that came with the gun) or I saw Gander Mountain offers to switch to a left-hand safety for $30. All the triggers I've got are either speed-locks or release. Thanks again, Keith
