Nebwake
Yea, for this use, I am not really looking for long range precision. If I am doing that, I'm pulling out my 6.5 CM boltgun. This is going to be used to humanly dispatch moving targets out to 200 or 300.
ccoker
I would definitely say the 6.8 with the 120SST Killed a lot of pigs on the run with mine and just built my middle kid one, he ran a 300 BO bolt action last year but wanted a 6,
BMartens
I've been working with the 6.5 Grendel for a bit and I like it. I've not hunted with it but, I would think a 123 SST running at 2500-2600 would be very effective for your purpose. And the accuracy is extremely good. The factory ammo accuracy is almost as good as handloads.
