ArrDave
The SP website says that the base pads are only ESP legal, I am pretty sure they are SSP legal as well but do not have them to test (or a kitchen scale to weigh the stock base pad). 16 rd because went the built 85 combat route. Thanks! Sent from an iDevice. Please forgive any grammatical or spelling errors. If the post doesn't make sense or is not amusing then it is technology's fault and most certainly not operator error. ArrDave
Alright, I got resourceful. I realized I had a spare stock stamped baseplate from my CZ Compact in my car and used the postal scale at work. The sheet metal base plate is weighing in at .3 OZ although it's probably not the most accurate, but even if it's rounding up from .25 OZ, that's still enough where the 1.16 oz would still be legal in SSP. Y'all don't care because you don't shoot IDPA, but now you can answer somebody else's question!
vixty
My sp pads for my cz mecgar 17rd mags are 1.05oz Edited September 17, 2015 by vixty
himurax13
I prefer the rubber basepads for my 16 rounders. I am not sure what the height restrictions of the followers for IDPA is but as long as they don't weigh more than an ounce more than the factory ones, you should be good to go. Quack
Zero'd the scale with a MG pad that was removed. The weight difference between the 2 pads.
