Gary1911A1 Posted September 2, 2015 Share Posted September 2, 2015 Won a bid on an older Witness in .45 on GunBroker last week. The frame is either stainless or wonderfinished. Hope it's wonderfinished. The slide is blued and has the older rear blade instead of the current Novak type rear. The triggerguard is also more rounded than current Witness Pistols. The barrel was listed at 4 3/4" also. Anyway I get it Friday. I have a 10MM Longslide with Supersight and will try to fit it to the frame, but if it doesn't work I'll just enjoy it in .45. Gary1911A1 Posted September 6, 2015 Author Share Posted September 6, 2015 The pistol came in Friday. Shot it informally at the range next to the gun shop. It was 100% with H&G68 over 5.9 Winchester 231 I had left from when PF was 180. Also shot some of my Blazer 200gr. Flying Ashtray to check function and it was 100% with those too. Had a Megar Magazine for a CZ97 with it so that was good. This will just be a range and fun pistol. Haven't tried the 10MM Longslide Conversion yet to see if it fits.
